Non-woven geotextiles geoNETEX^® are manufactured from polypropylene and polyester staple fibres using needle punching technology. In order to improve the mechanical and physical properties of the material, some types of the geotextile are treated by calendering.

Our geotextiles are offered in different widths from 1.0 to 6.5m, with mass per unit area ranging from 90 to 1500g/m². Standard colours variations include white, grey and multicolour, different colour modifications are available upon request.

Due to our long-lasting experience in the production of geotextiles and quality raw material used, non-woven geotextiles geoNETEX^® present a reliable solution for a wide range of engineering applications and installations performing the functions of separation, filtration, protection and drainage.

geoNETEX^® geotextiles are manufactured with different degrees of UV-stabilisation. For special applications (e.g. tunnels) geotextiles with lower level of flammability can be provided.

Our geotextiles pose no risks to the environment and health, they do not contain any heavy metals or other hazardous substances. They are characterised by outstanding mechanical and hydraulic properties and life span up to 50 years (under specified conditions).

Polyester non-woven geotextiles are not suitable for application in alkaline environments.

A range of non-woven geotextiles under the trade name NETEXHOME^® is offered for do-it-yourself customers and gardeners.

Quality control

The entire production of non-woven geotextiles geoNETEX^® is subject to a three-stage quality control procedure.

First of all, before the production itself, the quality of the raw material is checked in order to verify that it meets the desired specifications. Non-woven geotextiles geoNETEX^® are manufactured from various types of staple fibres. Depending on their basic characteristics such as linear density, length, shrinkage and crimp level, tenacity, elongation, level of UV-stabilisation and flammability, the raw material is chosen to suit the final product requirements.

Secondly, the quality of the geotextiles is inspected throughout the manufacturing process. Every roll is checked for the occurrence of defects (including metal-particles-detection routine). Mass per unit area is monitored electronically over the entire width of the roll.

The third stage of the quality control involves testing of the final product. Its characteristics and properties are checked with frequency given by an internal directive that specifies the requirements for individual products and admissible tolerance intervals. If the product meets all the requirements, it is released for shipment.

The plants manufacturing non-woven geotextiles geoNETEX^® have been certified according to ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System). The plants are audited by independent external institutes on a regular basis.

For application in engineering projects, geoNETEX^® geotextiles are tested by independent accredited laboratories according to several national quality management systems.
